Because Robe is a small coastal village that survives largely on tourism and the elements. The longevity of its Cafe's & Restaurants can sadly, be unpredictable. Changing from season to season. The beginning of this new summer season has seen the birth of two exciting new food destinations for Robe and the relocation of Adam Brooke's well established restaurant (Sails at Robe).
Bellow is a small selection and description of what I can happily recommend:
The Adventurous Spoon . Located on the corner of Victoria st & Robe st. This wonderful space and its staff offers up a fantastic combination of a menu that you would expect from a cafe in a beach town to a specials board that is lovingly prepered from the best of the areas local produce. You will always be greeted with a warm and helpful welcome and a very consistant quality of food and coffee. (08) 8768 2488.
The Union Cafe. Located at 17-19 Victoria st Robe. A great and very reliable breakfast and lunch cafe. The food is well priced and staff are happy and helpful. (08) 8768 2627.
Gather Food & Wine. Located in the Garden of Grey Masts. On the corner of Victoria and Davenport streets in Robe. We are thrilled to announce the arrival of a wonderful new restaurant in Robe. Gather Food & Wine is the culmination of chef Tom Tilbury's passion for "gathering" wild and local ingredients with his love of providing a unique food experience. The food is so obviously prepared with a delicate and seriously passionate understanding of food in its purist form. Super clean, fresh proteins with an amazing assortment of locally sourced, wild ingredients.
